Tom Clark is the commissioner of the Professional Bowlers Association and a Muskego resident since 2005, when a United States Bowling Congress job brought him to Wisconsin. Syracuse made the bowler; the suburb kept the executive. Born in Syracuse, New York, on April 29, 1969, he grew up watching Saturday PBA telecasts with a father who kept a 200-plus average and chose Buffalo State for journalism because the school fielded a bowling team. He still throws. In Muskego he settled with his wife, Kelli, and their children, Rory and Quinn; Rory later bowled at UW–Whitewater and Marian, and the family has bowled parent-child leagues locally. Clark joined the USBC in 2005 as director of communications, rose to marketing vice president—helping launch BowlTV, revive the U.S. Women’s Open, and stage the Clash of Champions—and became PBA deputy commissioner in 2008. He took over as commissioner on November 1, 2011, later serving a stretch as CEO, and oversaw the World Series of Bowling, PBA League, Playoffs, and Tour Finals. In 2025 the USBC Hall of Fame inducted him for meritorious service, listing his city as Muskego.
